Pictures needed!

THE MUSEUM OF CHARLEVOIX IS LOOKING
OF YOUR OLD PHOTOGRAPHS!

As part of her upcoming major exhibition on women from Charlevoix, the Musée de Charlevoix is looking for photographs featuring women in their community. The photographs must have been taken between the years 1860 and 1960.

This exhibition is a tribute to these local women, who were teachers, nurses, housewives, entrepreneurs, students, bachelors, heads of family, etc.

Although the Museum already has several photographs in its archives, we wish first and foremost to present your women, your photos, your memories. We are therefore appealing to the people of Charlevoix to contribute to our future exhibition.

The Museum wishes to cover their youth, their marriage, their work, their family life and the great moments that marked their life (Depression of the 1930s, World Wars, etc.) and what better way to illustrate the whole by images from YOUR albums!

The photos must be hand delivered to Mrs. Julie Côté, curator of the Musée de Charlevoix, or sent by e-mail (in high resolution) to conservation@bellnet.ca, by Friday, March 3, 2017.

In the hope of receiving many entries to make this exhibition a success but also, and above all, a tribute to the women here, we warmly thank the contribution of the Charlevoix population to this request.
